I am a Knitter and a lawyer, and a bunch of other things. The title of this blog was inspired by a comment from a female colleague who insinuated that I should not let the Big Male Partners know that I am a Knitter because I shouldn’t have them associating me with stereotypically female activities. My response? I think it is clear. I believe that my generation of corporate women will continue to pursue the changes that the corporate world has been needing for some time now. Now, I am not proposing that we all start crafting with clients, I am merely recognizing that the “stereotypical” male or female role are changing. Men can stay at home with children and professional women can appreciate kathartic effects of knitting. We can be both professional and female at the same time. It’s not that hard.
**Annoying disclaimer** I may be a lawyer but this blog is not about the law. Nothing I say should be seen as legal advice, etc. While I understand that the snarky title of this blog technically invites you to sue me, please don’t sue me. Thanks.
